I've found myself in these last few months post-CubeCon at looking to push the status quo in terms of making cube content. It's funny since I'd created a lot of what ended up being cemented as tradition and orthodoxy, and yet seeing pushback when I'm pushing against orthodoxy in 2025, much like I did in the early 2010s.
It's like you said, a lot of the time, people find it hard to think out of the box and just go for the smooth sauce.

Donny, I think about it all the time. Magic is so bound to tradition. I always want to try and create "chunky."
